This is the simplest, cheapest way to start pour-over brewing well. The V60 cone shape and spiral ridges give good control over drawdown, and the plastic body is light, hard to break, and holds heat reasonably once pre-warmed. It brews one to four cups, which suits most solo drinkers and couples. It does need V60 paper filters and a separate mug or server underneath, so factor those in as part of the setup.
